| Eligible Persons | Nationals of countries that have concluded a visa exemption agreement with the Republic of Korea and who intend to engage in activities permitted under that agreement. |
| Maximum Length of Stay That Can Be Granted at One Time | The length of stay specified in the agreement |
| Change of Stay Status and Extension of Stay Period | In principle, those who enter under a visa waiver agreement or for the purpose of tourist transit are not permitted to extend their stay period or change their stay status. Therefore, if the stay period exceeds the agreement period or a period separately determined by the Minister of Justice, they must be guided to obtain a visa before entering.
