* When receiving education at a regular educational institution (elementary, middle, high school, or university) within the period of stay, and as long as it does not infringe upon the original purpose of stay, no separate permission procedure is required. 2. Conversation Teaching (E-2) Activities Not Subject to Permission (Report) for Activities Outside the Status of Stay (According to the Integrated Guidelines on Visa Issuance and Stay Management for Conversation Teaching Instructors) a. Conversation Teaching within the Workplace for Colleagues or Staff * Applicable to : Lawful residents who have completed foreigner registration, holding Professor (E-1) through Specific Activities (E-7), Correspondent (D-5) through Trade Management (D-9) status. * Permitted Standard : Conducting foreign language conversation teaching activities for colleagues or staff within one’s own workplace. b. Conversation Teaching as Volunteer Service (Non-profit, Unpaid) * Applicable to : Lawful residents who have completed foreigner registration (including those exempt from registration). * Permitted Standard : Conversation teaching activities provided as volunteer service, not for profit or compensation, at schools, religious organizations, social welfare facilities, community centers, etc. c. Common Provisions * Conversation teaching that becomes a primary activity, or activities that deviate from the permitted standards, are excluded from this autonomous allowance. |

| Permission for Change of Status of Stay | 1. For holders of Temporary Correspondent (C-1) status, if the necessity for long-term reporting in Korea is proven, permission may be granted to change to Long-term Correspondent (D-5) status.
※ When granting permission, documents proving the necessity for long-term reporting, such as cooperation letters from relevant government ministries, must be requested. 2. Change to long-term stay status for German nationals who entered under the Visa Waiver (B-1) program. a. Permitted Status of Stay : All long-term stay statuses except Technical Training (D-3), Non-professional Employment (E-9), and Working Holiday (H-1). b. Permitted Period : Maximum period of stay that can be granted at one time according to each status of stay. 3. * Foreigners who have completed registration are exempt from obtaining a re-entry permit if they re-enter within 1 year from the date of departure. * If less than 1 year remains on the period of stay, exemption applies within the remaining period of stay. ※ However, those subject to entry restrictions or visa issuance restrictions must visit the Immigration Office (or branch/office) with jurisdiction over their residence to obtain a re-entry permit. 2.
