    1. Religious Activities
    
    A. Individuals dispatched to work at a domestic branch registered by a foreign religious or social welfare organization.
    
    B. Individuals dispatched by a foreign religious or social welfare organization to engage in religious activities at affiliated religious organizations in the country.
    
    C. Individuals invited by medical, educational, or relief organizations operated by their affiliated religious group to engage in missionary or social welfare activities.
    
    D. Excludes individuals who receive compensation from the institutions they work for.
    
    E. Individuals who engage in meditation, training, or research activities at a religious organization in the country upon the recommendation of a domestic religious organization.
    
    2. Social Welfare Activities
    
    Individuals invited by domestic religious or social welfare organizations to engage exclusively in social welfare activities.
    
    * If the duration of stay is 90 days or less, they qualify for a short-term visit (C-3) visa (however, activities are limited to those specified within the scope of activities defined by the Enforcement Decree).
